In light of recent exploration success at the Andover West Project, Errawarra Resources ltd (ASX: ERW) is happy to be able to provide further information to its shareholders today. Information on the completed aerial reconnaissance of Andover West, as well as additional reconnaissance and follow-up samples obtained and ready for analysis, is included in the exploration update release.
To further investigate the pegmatite trends that had previously indicated increased lithium readings, Errawarra Resources dispatched staff to site to conduct additional extensive reconnaissance and follow-up rock chip sampling of pegmatites in the area.
This work concentrated mostly on the cluster of samples that had been previously collected in the north-western portion of the tenement. These samples occurred within the area that Azure Minerals Ltd. and Raiden Resources Ltd. had anticipated to be the most promising in the south-west direction.
In addition to this, aerial surveillance was carried out to provide additional assistance in the localisation of the pegmatite outcrop. The pegmatites that can be found inside Errawarra’s tenement E47/4352 are situated three kilometres to the west of a recently discovered lithium pegmatite that was reported by Raiden Resources, and ten kilometres to the south-west of a significant lithium pegmatite that was discovered by Azure Resources.
Errawarra Resources is strategically placed inside a very likely lithium pegmatite zone. Less than 20 kilometres to the west, both Greentech Metals and Artemis Resources have reported the discovery of high-grade lithium pegmatite. Errawarra is going to proceed with the systematic exploration of its 100 km2 tenement in search of lithium-bearing pegmatites.
Azure Minerals‘ recent capital raising to raise $120m is an example of the increasing interest in the West Pilbara region as a location for exploration and corporate development.
Errawarra Resources is committed to maximising shareholder value by identifying and pursuing strategic growth possibilities, including the potential joint venture or disposal of non-core assets and the development of new projects.
